Energy Performance Certification (EPC)
Both Andrew and Derek have been trained under the
STROMA accreditation scheme and are the technical partners to PSG
Energy. We have the ability to undertake large scale portfolio surveys
of commercial properties however retaining control over the output of
the report to meet our client’s requirements.
At WH we consider the EPC to be just the starting
point for Landlords and Tenants to take the opportunity of reviewing
their property portfolio. Our experience in Facilities Management and
Property Management allows us to influence the right engineering and
building fabric recommendations for our clients properties based on age,
condition and likely investment value. Our holistic approach to the EPC
means that not only do our clients obtain certification we assist them
in making informed choices and implementing any improvement or
refurbishment works.
On Portfolio surveys, all our clients receive a
unique log in to a portal where they can view the progress of the EPC
and also download them when complete.

Air Conditioning Inspections
Air-conditioning systems with an effective rated
output of more than 12kW will require an Air Conditioning Inspection. An
air-conditioning system refers to any system where refrigeration is used
to provide cooling for the comfort of occupants.
An energy inspection of an air-conditioning system
must be carried out by an accredited energy assessor who is a current
member of an approved accreditation scheme. The energy assessor must
provide a written report of the inspection to the person who has control
of the operation of the air-conditioning system as soon as practicable
after the inspection.
WH have undertaken a number of Air Conditioning
inspections and can ensure compliance under current regulations.
